Roads of Village Bandrai are in Pathetic Condition since last 30 year

Rajouri is home to quite a large rural population. Most of the rural areas in Teh. Sunderbani do not have access to all weather roads and hence have a tough time during the monsoons (Barsant). This problem is more significant in the northern and northeastern part of Teh. Sunderbani. In India the responsibilities for road building and maintenance lies with the Central and state government. The administration of the national highway system is vested with the Ministry of State for Surface Transport in India and other state roads are preserved by the state public works departments (PWD). The government of India in its 11th five year plan has allotted Rs 100,000 crore for the construction and maintenance of roads in villages. But there is no progress in the construction of roads in our village Bandrai.

IT’S A ONLY ROAD THAT CONECTING OUR VILLAGE BANDRAI TO ITS Distt. (RAJOURI) THROUGH SIYA VILLAG BUT IT IS IN A PATHETIC CONDITION SINCE LAST 30 YEARS. THIS ROAD IS BEING REPAIRED TWO TIMES BUT FOR JUST NAME SAKE. STILL THERE ARE PITS AND DITCHES ON THE ROAD EVERYWHERE . THE CONDITION OF THE ROAD  BECOMES ALL THE WORST DURING THE RAINEY SEASION AND DUE TO BAD CONDETION OF ROAD , ALL AUTO & METADOR DRIVERS CHARGE MORE FARE AND IN RAINY SEASON OF JUNE -JULY THEY ALL ARE STOPED DUE TO WHICH PEOPLE OF OUR VILLAGE FACE MANY PROBLEMS FOR GOING ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER FOR HOSPITALS (at Sunderbani), POSTOFFICE ( at Devak), BANKS, SCHOOLS, ETC.
