The name of village is Bandrai. The geographical coordinates are 33° 6'28.54"N 74°37'1.22"E. It is 18 Km away from Sunderbani Tehsil .It is a small village with only 60 to 70 families and population is around five hundred. The temple of maa durga is situated in the middle of the village. During Navaratri, the big festival is celebrated in this temple.
The main occupation of our villagers is cultivation. Village has a good name for vegetable production in area having number of different water streams which are very helpful to our villagers for cultivation and groundwater recharge. All kinds of seasonal vegetables are available in good quality and cheap price.
Groundwater is the only source of drinking water in village. WATER WELLS can provide clean drinking water for an entire village and help prevent dehydration and water-borne disease
There is a school with teaching facility up to the 8th class. For the purpose of medicine the villagers depend upon the neighboring village. There is a one dispensary but no Proper medical care is is available for the people of the village and there is no post office , bank in Bandrai village. The government has taken no step for building roads and maintaining them for joining village to other area.
