Sarojini Embroidery Centre, Bandrai. 

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting some talented girls and women from Sulla Nalla (Village Bandrai) who are learning embroidery at Sarojini Embroidery Centre, Bandrai, under the guidance of Shri Bharat Bhushan Ji.

I was truly amazed and impressed by their beautiful work. They proudly showed me their embroidery projects, including beautiful flowers, peacocks, and traditional old Dogra “Bail-Pata” designs, beautifully embroidered on white cloth.

Honestly, they really made my day! Wowww! 

I sincerely appreciate their hard work, creativity, dedication and talent from the bottom of my heart. Such initiatives can give our girls and women not only a valuable skill but also a path towards self-reliance and financial independence.

I sincerely hope that in the future, more underprivileged girls and women from Bandrai and the surrounding areas will join this centre, learn this beautiful traditional art, and one day be able to earn a livelihood by selling their handmade embroidered clothes and products.

Skills create opportunities.

Empowered women create stronger families and stronger communities.

सरोजिनी एम्ब्रॉयडरी सेंटर, बांद्राई 

आज सुला नाला की कुछ प्रतिभाशाली लड़कियों और महिलाओं से मिलने का अवसर मिला, जो श्री भारत भूषण जी के मार्गदर्शन में सरोजिनी एम्ब्रॉयडरी सेंटर, बांद्राई में कढ़ाई सीख रही हैं।

उनका खूबसूरत काम देखकर मैं सच में बहुत प्रभावित हुआ।  उन्होंने अपने कढ़ाई के प्रोजेक्ट दिखाए, जिनमें सुंदर फूल, मोर और हमारी पुरानी पारंपरिक डोगरा “बेल-पत्ता” डिज़ाइन सफेद कपड़े पर बेहद खूबसूरती से बनाई गई थीं।

मैं दिल से उनकी मेहनत, रचनात्मकता, लगन और हुनर की सराहना करता हूँ। ऐसी पहल हमारी लड़कियों और महिलाओं को केवल एक हुनर ही नहीं, बल्कि आत्मनिर्भर बनने और आर्थिक रूप से मजबूत होने का अवसर भी देती है।

मेरी दिल से इच्छा और उम्मीद है कि भविष्य में बांद्राई और आसपास के क्षेत्रों की अधिक जरूरतमंद लड़कियां और महिलाएं इस केंद्र से जुड़ें, इस सुंदर पारंपरिक कला को सीखें और आगे चलकर अपने हाथों से बनाए कढ़ाई के कपड़े और उत्पाद बेचकर अपनी आजीविका कमा सकें। 

हुनर अवसर पैदा करता है। आत्मनिर्भर महिलाएं मजबूत परिवार और मजबूत समाज बनाती हैं। 🌸
